What makes them different is that you get to pick your six samples out of a selection of roughly 10 or so items. They change them up every morning, so when your selection window opens, you get all new stuff to pick from. The supply is always good because instead of shipping the boxes all on one specific date (IE: the 15th) it's based on when you signed up, so you aren't fighting everyone for the best samples. You get about 5 days to make your selections and after that, if you didn't pick anything specific they'll have someone pick for you (which you can also do if you just want the element of surprise.) It's $12 a month, but I paid for a year in advance so I got a free month. And yes, I realize it's La Fresh, not Letter L Letter A Fresh. Duh.
So here's a side to side comparison of what they sent when when I let them pick as opposed to one where I picked my own.
