April Gabbriella's Closet Sampler

Ah, the sampler that started it all for me! Gabbriella's Sampler showed me that you could find the most delightful treasures when you look for them.

I so thoroughly enjoyed my first sampler from there that this month I went ahead and got the deluxe sampler, which is a sampler that includes one of each of the boxes she has available. The standard box is $19.95 but for $65.00 you get the standard box as well as all of the other permutations available. So when I say that I got 3 of something, it's because 3 of the different boxes included that item- not because one box has multiples of the same item. Going this route would be a great idea for gift giving season because you'd get stuff to be able to hand out gift samplers to everyone on your list for one low price! The box was so full of stuff and heavy that I was struck dumb!

So without further ado, here's what gave me Christmas in April!
(The pictures will be representative of what I got, but the artisan may not have the exact same item posted for me to show)

Well, first of all, if you purchase this month's sampler, it will come in this beautiful bamboo basket courtesy of Gabbriella's.
From Recycled Candles  came a painted ceramic candle holder with a beach scene and swirls of ocean colors. The full sized votive candle inside is honeydew melon scented.

From Hippie Chick Jewelry & Design I received 2 beautiful and charming necklaces with a flower pendant made of beads and a little cultured pearl on a ball chain (one green, one pink.) I've been wearing these every day since I got them and have had multiple compliments on them! Right now there's a discount available for 10% off with the coupon code AprilGabbriella
Her prices are REALLY good, too!

From Herbal Expressions  we have a handmade lavender eye pillow filled with organic lavender grown in her own garden. These pillows are so wonderful that I specifically requested it (I got one in the previous month's sampler and fell in love- you can read my review in my previous Gabbriella's Box review) This way I can have one that I keep in the freezer and one to heat up in the microwave. These sell for $16.75 with the gift box that it comes in, so this alone is worth the price of admission!
Look at their lovely gardens....

From Gabbriella's Closet -
1 set of pink Traditional Chinese Ear Candles. I've always wanted to try these, so I look forward to the experience- especially with how stopped up my head has been!

1 large pouch of Dead Sea Mineral Bath Soak
1 full sized tube of After Shave Balm for men (retail $14.99) with dead sea minerals, aloe vera and green tea. The husband doesn't normally use anything on his face (his idea of a moisturizer is to slop on some plain aloe vera gel) but he liked the scent so much that he plans on actually using this!

1 full sized pouch of Dead Sea Mineral Mud (retail $9.99) which I cannot WAIT to use. I've had a mineral mud treatment at a spa before and it was divine, so how cool to be able to do it at home without it costing an arm and a leg.
A set of three multipurpose knitted rounds in shades of lavender. These can be used for everything from trivets to hot pads to exfoliating bath scrubbies. I'm so jealous- as hard as I try, I don't think I'll ever get the hang of crocheting and knitting :(

2 large Candy Shaped Soaps, one lemon, one orange.

A full sized lotion bath tart that smells DEEEE-lightful!

A full sized roller bottle of Gabbriella's Closet Handcrafted Perfume Oil in Provocative- a sultry amber vanilla that smells super sexy!

A jarred Mineral Eye Shadow in Whisper, a subtle glimmer.

And finally 2 HUGE full sized handmade soaps: A glycerin loofah soap and a Yogurt, Hemp Cocoa Butter soap in baby Powder scent.

Memories By Olenka supplied 4 beautiful handcrafted thank you cards that arrived just in time for me to send it to my mother-in-law who sent us both easter and anniversary gifts and deserves a hearty thanks! These beautiful button bedecked cards are just what I needed!

From Tuxedo Enterprises comes 3 full sized handcrafted scent tarts in Midnight Rose, 1 in Cucumber Green Tea and 2 in Cinnamon Coffee. I'm burning one literally right at this moment! It smells divine and is subtle enough not to be overpowering but still put out a great scent. When I left the room then came back in,  I was struck by what a pretty garden rose smell wafted from the room.

These are a great price, too! From 99 cents for a single tart to only $12.29 for a whole bag of 25!

From SBS Teas there's a little metal tin containing 2 of their lovely formed green tea hearts. Also  bags with 2 black tea pressed heart and 2 large sample bags of TKO Herbal Tisane and one with another formed green tea heart and Peach Brandy Black Tea!
If you order from their site and enter the code gabfeb you'll receive a 15% discount off of their already ridiculously low prices! I just ordered from them myself, they have a tea grab bag that's less than $8.00 with an assortment so you can try out lots of different flavors!

From Shelly Frances Minerals is 2 sample pigments in Amethyst.
This stuff is SUPER shiny!

From the always awesome Om Shanti Handcrafts is what has to easily be one of the most rich, delightfully scented soaps it has ever been my pleasure to sniff. These healthy sized goat's milk and honey samples (about the size of a guest soap)  in Mulling Spices are divine! Words cannot express how amazing this scent is. I also received 2 pretty muslin bags stamped with their logo- in one bag 2 large soap samples in Vanilla Rose and Tangerine Vanilla and in the other one a bag FILLED with Pumpkin Spice Soap Minis and a lavender citrus cuticle salve! With the code PLE25 you'll receive a full 25% off your order.

From Eco Vintage Vegan I received 2 absolutely stunning origami gift boxes. The ones I received were made with pages of photos from vintage Life magazines. I am INSPIRED!
Tucked inside each of these boxes was a leather pouch filled with tumbled stones from Crude Company, hand gathered and polished stones dug up and processed by the same person who runs Eco Vintage Vegan.  As someone who loves to go stone gathering myself, I can say these are lovingly processed!
Dainty Creations included 5 unique and beautiful handcrafted antiqued gift tags.

Whew! My hands are starting to cramp.......

From Scrapbook Heaven is another adorable gift tag.
Creative Expressions donated a pretty little tatted flower that I plan to work into a hair decoration.

I have been somewhat obsessed with hair decoration lately, and so I was super happy to receive an adorable beaded hair flower from TattieTats
With the promo code NEW20 you get 20% off!

Another pretty little hair bauble came from Whatshername, a pretty little pinwheel hair band.

Lots more jewelry, too!

From The RocKandy Shoppe we have a pretty beaded bracelet in pinks, greens and ambers and with a huge decorative faux stone.

From Flying Dragon Studios I got a Silvery Grey cultured pearl bracelet! You heard me- a PEARL BRACELET!
Monkey Stitch's Crafty Crochet & Beadwork contributed a PRETTY PRETTY beaded necklace with awesome lampwork beads. This is SO well made, and one of my co-workers who makes jewelry was super impressed with this one.  if you purchase from them, put the code Gabbriella's Samplers in the message to seller box and get free shipping!
Unfortunately, there's no items up in the shop right now for me to show you an example of the work, but I bet you could contact them and find out more....

From Higher Purpose Crafts is a knitted soap saver, which I love. These are the perfect thing for not only utilizing every last bit of your soaps, but also providing delicate exfoliation.
Finally,
(WHEW!)
We have tons of Avon samples provided by Karen Berezin

Boy. I've gotta go and soak my hands now :-)

If you pay a visit to Gabbriella's Sampler, let her know The Beauty Pirate sent you!
