Possibly one of the EASIEST things in the world to make at home, and makes a cool gift for your girly friends as well. Once you make your own, you'll get addicted.
You will need:
fragrance free aloe vera gel
extra fine glitter (if you have it available, cosmetic grade is best because it is less likely to irritate eyes if it gets in there. If your local craft store doesn't carry it, don't worry, standard extra fine works great- just don't put it on your eyes.)
essential oil or fragrance (optional)
food coloring (optional)
in a plastic container, mix 1/2 cup unscented aloe gel with one teaspoon extra fine glitter. Most craft stores have an awesome selection, but if you want something super fancy, you can get it online. Mix it all up. Duh. You will need:

If you want to add some color to the gel, add TWO- not TWENTY- but TWO drops of food coloring. Any more and people will laugh at you because it will take days for the color to wear off.
If you desire scent, add a drop of essential or perfume oil. I like to use scents like rose attar, cardamom and ylang ylang. I recommend using a scent oil instead of regular perfume because alcohol based scents will disappear from your gel mix pretty quickly.
