Too Faced Palettes & Cosmetics Collections

I love Too Faced products in general, but I'm especially a big fan of their palettes. These are a great way to get an all inclusive face without spending all the money on full sized products to build up your own set. I love to experiment with products, shades, colors, etc , so when it comes to makeup I generally prefer palettes so I have some variety. Across the board, their palettes and collections rank at the top of the ratings chain. (I'll be updating this with a video of palette swatches soon.)

Maylee's Garden - A SAFE laundry alternative

I came across Maylee's Garden on Artfire when I was searching for handmade laundry detergents. I had found myself reacting to commercial detergents more and more frequently. I never really thought of my skin as being particularly sensitive, but I suppose over time it can have a cumulative effect. Especially my sheets and undies- eek! Nothing like an itchy bra to make your day that extra bit special and exciting......Blugh......

Not only are these detergents gentle on the skin, but they also are safe for the environment. They are full of wonderful and gentle ingredients that leave your clothes soft, clean, and smelling great. I've tried the Ginger Orange and the Chai Tea scents and they are DIVINE. The scent fills your house, but doesn't permeate your clothing in a fake, sickly sweet way. You also don't need to use fabric softener because of the oils she uses to make her detergents. Your clothes really do come out really clean, even using cold water like I do.

Most laundry detergents are actually really awful for your clothing. They cling to and coat the fibers of the fabric, eventually making them a dirt magnet and eroding the fiber structure. No problems with that using these, so they're safe for even the most delicate fabrics. A little goes a long way, too. You only need a mere teaspoon full of the detergent to clean a whole load!


In addition to detergents, she also makes soaps and bar shampoos (I love love love bar shampoo, so I'm eager to give those a try!) You can also get her to do custom items for you, and who can say that Tide ever did that?
