The perfect addition to any makeup bag, this hydrating, sheer-colour lip shine is packed with nourishing ingredients like jojoba oil and mango, avocado and shea butter.
My Thoughts: In the tube it looks like it's going to be a fairly hideous grandma color (my grandma wore lipstick this color all the time- to this day I can envision the coral stained tips of an overflowing ashtray full of menthols...) but then you put it on and it's quite sheer. On my lips it blends in perfectly and I've gotten compliments every time I've worn it. I LOVE the tube- very Retro Betty. It's super crazy emollient, feels absolutely FABULOUS on the lips- lasts a long time and doesn't dry you out at all. I like that this has over 50% natural ingredients. in a pinch, this also gives a lovely hint of color to your cheeks as well!

Silk Naturals Eyeshadow in Cream

My Thoughts: Wow! What a great shadow! Usually handmade mineral shadows aren't this finely milled, but this stuff is incredibly micro-milled. No clumps here! No wonder they're Silk Naturals, this was silky smooth. And what a value! Only $4.00 a pot for extremely high quality product. I put this on at the same time as a Too Faced shadow and at the end of the day they were both still perfectly in place with nary a smudge or crease (I DID use primer, but in this case I actually used a really crappy primer that my mom gave me a long time ago that I'm trying to use up.) What a lovely shimmer! The perfect highlighter.
