Smoochie Smoochie!

Hello, my name is Julie Ann, and I'm a lippie-holic. Nothing gets my engine revving faster than lip products, and I have some bizarre psychological attachment. I go into withdrawal if I have bare lips for more than a few minutes at a time. There is not a place in my universe where I don't stash at least a lip balm. So what has claimed my seal of approval lately?

Hourglass Extreme Sheen Truth- This is not only one of the most luxurious glosses to ever grace my lips, but it has a shine that looks like you've encased your lips in lucite (I mean that as a good thing.) It is thick, but not as gloppy as thicker glosses tend to be, and while it IS thick, it's not really sticky. It's super hydrating, better than most lip hydrators that are specifically made for that purpose. It has a divine vanilla scent and sticks around for a really long time- much longer than your average gloss. The Truth color is a beautiful dusty neutral pink that should work on almost any skin tone. These are also highly pigmented, which in the case of this color means your lips look like a perfectly balanced yet natural looking sexpot fleshy pink.

What it is:A smoothing and defining lip gloss that offers opulent shine. What it does:The cr?me-de-la-cr?me of lip glosses, Extreme Sheen is pure luxury for the lips. The formulation delivers high-shine and rich pigment without feathering. It contains moisturizing active and Vitamin E to provide intense hydration to keep lips from cracking or chapping. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Fragrances- Synthetic Dyes- Phthalates

Clinique Long Last Lipstick Pink Chocolate has got to be one of the most universally flattering shades I've come across in FOREVAH! Clinique lipsticks often leave me, if not cold, then a bit indifferent. This particular shade blows my socks off, however. Pink Chocolate is the perfect way to describe it, it's so rich and decadent a color and it makes your lips look lush and plush and plump. I went through a phase where I was wearing this on an almost daily basis, because it also looks good with practically any colors of clothing. The lipstick itself is creamy and long lasting and feels divine on your kisser.

Lancome Rouge SPF 12 Rouge Velour is possibly the sexiest lipstick ever, hands down. It's a deep cranberry red with tiny subtle sparkling crystals that make your lips appear fuller and poutier. Every time I wear this I get compliments and embarrassingly, I have to keep gazing at myself in the mirror longingly. If they ever discontinue this color I will have to stage a protest outside of their headquarters. I worship at the Lancome altar, and this lipstick is one of the reasons why. PLUS you've got SPF protection!

Wrap your lips in rich, satiny color with this deeply replenishing lipstick. Infused with moisture-boosting Pro-Xylane™, lips stay moist, soft and comfortable for up to 8 hours. Antioxidant-rich Vitamin E and SPF 12 help keep lips safe from environmental aggressors, so they’ll look and feel healthier day after day. The stay true color won’t feather, flake or fade, so your pout will always look picture-perfect.

Laura Mercier Opal Lip Glace is a glossy but not overly shiny neutral that looks particularly sophisticated when paired with a touch of a nude liner for added definition. Not one bit sticky, and made with deeply nourishing ingredients, it almost feels like a balm instead of a gloss. Tiny bits of glistening sparkle add the illusion of plumpness (that really seems to be the big thing lately, wouldn't cha say?)

Yves Rocher  Cream Balm in Rose Petals is, according to testing done
Proven effectiveness:
lips are more supple (92%*)
-lips are smoother (88%*)
-lips are luminous (83%*)
- the balm texture is rich (96%*)
- the texture is creamy and generous (83%*).

All I know is that it literally feels like a lip balm, but looks like a lipstick. The little jar is easy to toss in your purse without worrying about spillage. The color lasts and lasts, and it applies like a cream dream. Yves Rocher products are 100% natural and they actually have their own farms where they harvest their botanicals. Not only that, but they even have a foundation helping to preserve rainforests! Nothing like being to make an eco-friendly choice AND get an awesome product at the same time. Oh, and Yves Rocher always includes ridiculous amounts of freebies with purchase. If I recall, when i got this lippie I received a free pashmina....

All Yves Rocher great deals !

Philosophy Creme Brulee Very Emollient Lip Shine has to be one of my favorite flavors that they ever came out with, and the bastards discontinued it! NOOOOOO!!!!!! You can still buy the shower gel and lotion, but using all three at once made me feel like a giant yummy dessert. perhaps (fingers crossed) they'll rerelease it for Christmas. In the meantime, the other items in this scent are great, but holy guacamole, this actually tastes like creme brulee!
