$12 a month for your customized choices. Beauty Army is different from most subscription services, in that you get to choose what samples you get. The profile quiz is fairly detailed and the choices offered to you are customized to meet your specific wants and needs- no more getting samples that downright piss you off! Often you'll have at LEAST one (if not more) full sized items available to you, as well as large deluxe samples and a few smaller packettes. Most times I'll pick the biggest items to simply get more bang for my buck, but in this instance, I just went with the samples that truly honestly had my curiousity piqued.
Skipping a month is super easy and I discovered something pretty cool- if you hit page refresh when choosing your samples new choices will pop up!

Once you've made hot chocolate with one of these, you will never want to go back to that powdered crap. Yes, I know it's summer, but I made some and then put it in the fridge to cool and drank it like the worlds most decadent chocolate milk. For truly decadent is the best way to describe the explosion of flavor in your mouth- it's a chocogasm! Smooth, creamy, rich and a perfect true chocolate flavor. I had the milk chocolate but I REALLY wanna try the dark chocolate. Actually, I wanna try one of everything they make.....If you're a fan of chocolate, do yourself a f(L)avor and check out their Etsy shop. (another thing that I love- this is real chocolate made by hand with love by real people, not heartless assembly lines in a town named after your bigass company...)

I love that these are so full of fiber and protein instead of being an empty calorie snack. This is what they mean when something is called snack FOOD. This is real food with actual nutrition and health value that fills you up and contributes something to your nutritional intake. They make the best nachos ever, too. It tastes like you have beans on your nachos! I've eaten the black bean with sea salt and the restaurant style white bean with sea salt, but they have numerous other flavors as well. Chomping at the bit here to try the Better Cheddar pinto bean! And WOOT! They now sell them at my local grocery store! (though i did add a link to where you can get them from Amazon Grocery if your local store doesn't carry them. If you like to eat healthy but also get the crunch monster cravings, these are fantastical. All abut Beanitos

Look Bag, We Hardly Knew Ye - With a bag giveaway $39 value- Two Days Left!
The Look Bag was incredibly troubled from the get go. They were notorious for abysmal customer service and then just like that *poof* they closed up shop. I assumed that would be the last I heard of them, but a few months later I got an email saying that they were relaunching, and as a previous subscriber, I'd get a big discount to sign back up, which I did. Well, I got maybe two or three more bags and then in December, I didn't get my bag. I contacted them and they apologized and said it'd be right out. Well, they sent me a duplicate of the bag from the previous month! Good stuff (see below video) I just don't need duplicates. So lucky you, I'm giving away the second bag, and since they both have a duplicate item from a bag previous to THAT (see 2nd video) I'm also giving away a full sized Loreal shadow (which is a GORGE color, by the by.) Come January and no Look Bag (but a charge nonetheless) I got an email saying that they were closing down AGAIN. Never got the bag I was charged for and my emails went unanswered. Phhhbbbbt. Oddly, they still have a Facebook page.....

This stuff is fabulous! A true multitasking powerhouse. For those with reservations about cleansing oils, it's time to get over it. Not only do they clean your skin without stripping it of essential moisture, but you will absolutely FREAK about how well it cleans your skin. Cleansing oils work on the basis that like attracts like, so when you put this oil onto your face, it's replacing the dirty gross oil on your skin with fresh, clean oil. All I can say is WOWZERS. This stuff is incredible. Seriously one of the most all around lovely face scrubs I've ever used. I have sensitive skin, but this is gentle enough that I can use it daily without irritating my skin. It starts out as a seemingly basic granulated scrub- nothing special. The you smell it..... Oh how fresh and vibrant and clean is the lemon! So bright and cheerful! Not often does washing my face put me into such a good mood! Then you massage it into your skin and right about when the sugar is dissolving suddenly BOOM! Foam! My skin feels exceptionally clean without feeling dried out AT ALL. As a matter of fact, I washed my face with this stuff about 30 minutes ago and came downstairs and got distracted before I put on moisturizer. I just realized that my skin does not feel tight or dry, but in fact feels quite silky soft. Since I started using this, I've been really pleased with how bright my skin tone is and how much smaller my pores appear. It's PHENOMENAL! Am i gushing?

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Foaming Scrub Pink Grapefruit (and a great deal on Amazon)
I am not a label whore, though I do tend to have the best results with higher end products. Sometimes though, there's a commercially accessible brand that impresses me up there with the big boys. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Foaming Scrub Pink Grapefruitis one of those! Every month (you know where this going) I will break out just a tidge. Not a ton, but like, one or two blemishes. Well, the last two months, when I knew it was coming I used this scrub for about the week beforehand, and guess what? NO blemishes at all! I don't know how it works on daily chronic acne, but on my situational acne it works like a charm. It's gentle enough for my sensitive, rosacea prone skin and left my skin feeling thoroughly exfoliated. I don't recommend this for dry skin, simply based on other reviews by people who have dry skin, but mine is combination and it treated me just fine. Obviously you should use a non-comedogenic moisturizer after using it, but it really does clean out your pores and tighten them. A little goes a long way, and the grapefruit smell is fabuloso and muy invigorating! A total bargain. I found a GREAT deal on it on Amazon- even with shipping it's cheaper than any other retail price I've seen!
