I finally settled on Vert (above) because it's funky and unique but with a heel that's sensible enough that I can wear it to work. I always have a hard time deciding between practical and comfortable or fabulous but impractical for regular wear. Why must they torture me so?  Simply Shop|323 is one stop shopping for handmade goodies. After receiving some items from them in a sampler, I decided to check them out. I get tons of compliments on the absolutely adorable purse I bought (which was exceedingly well made, might I add).

Tarte Palettes

Tarte Cosmetics are known for not only being natural and safe but also for being innovative. Their powder products are SUPER highly pigmented, so you have to use a light hand. The tiniest bit of the mattes is all you need- mine have lasted for an eon. I recommend always tapping your brush before application unless you want to look like a clown! I love that there are so many options that take this kit from day to night, sedate to wild. Their shimmer shadows are particularly gorgeous and apply quite creamily, whereas the mattes are a coarser texture which I imagine has something to do with the all natural ingredients. Their bronzer looks good on even pale old me, but the illuminator steals the show. I feel like a fairy princess when I use it! The glosses are all fairly sheer, sometimes I wear them alone for a nuanced flush of tint, but for more oomph I like to layer the gloss over a corresponding lipstick or lip liner.
